Our university and department are in a central position in the middle of the electricity and energy related industrial establishments in the Marmara region. Our academic staff has industrial experience in the field and not only the theoretical knowledge about the subject, but also the real life experiences gained from the applications.
To sum up our department in a single sentence, our graduates are interested in the design, development, production and control of mechanical systems and energy conversion / transmission systems using the basic principles of natural sciences. The machine manufacturing industry, energy sector and heating / ventilation / air conditioning systems ranging from a wide range of technological products and systems can work in the development.
